Hardware
I have an extensive background in PC hardware as well as a solid working knowledge of network hardware. When I was about 6 years old my father bought me my first computer, a Commodore 64. I was fascinated with it and intrigued by the idea that I could make programs and games for myself where other kids, who got Nintendos for Christmas, had to live with whatever commercial games they were offered. I was sad to find out that the hardware was only capable of so much. Then I got my first IBM when I was about 8. Since then I have owned and built several computers. Most of the systems I have built were IBM compatible. I have worked with just about every type of motherboard, expansion, and peripheral marketed in the last 15 years. So I have a LOT of personal experience in this area. I have also had two terms of hardware and troubleshooting at Computer Tech. which, incidentally, were no challenge at all for a person with my background.
