Microsoft DOS
I have extensive knowledge of MSDOS. I have been working with computers since the time when you HAD to know DOS just to get around. I can program in QBasic, write batch files, manage the file structure...you name it, I can do it in DOS. In fact I often prefer to use DOS for file management rather than Windows Explorer.
Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000
I have been using the Windows operating systems since Windows 3.1 was released. I can do it all, I can even do things Bill Gates didn't think of yet. Windows is simple and easily manipulated.
Unix
Unix is a much more sensible operating system than Windows. It is best for networking computers. I think the tasks of large networks are best handled by Unix because of the stability of the system. It isn't user friendly, but it isn't supposed to be.
Linux
Linux is my favorite operating system. It has all the best parts of the other systems designed in one. It is Unix based by design, but has a simple user interface like Windows. The only drawback is that there are a lot of programs that won't run under Linux. The industry just doesn't support it yet.
