Summary
Guy Montag lives in a world where reading has been banned. He's a fireman. That means that he burns books that have been found in people's houses. He's never thought of what could be inside those books, until he met Clarisse McLellan. Clarisse is a 17 year old girl, who looks at the world different than anyone else. She made Montag really start to think about all the books he'd burned over the years. But did she change his mind? Will Montag stop the burning of books?

A little info on the world this book is in....
The setting in this book is very odd. Everyone is the same, it's bad to be different. Books have been banned because they were considered too contreversial. Some people didn't like one book because they felt it was offensive. Another group of people doesn't like a different book because it offends them. In the end, all books are banned. Some people still read them, but if they get caught, their house will be burned down.

The "Family"
The "Family" is an interactive wall/television type thing. You can talk to whoever is on tv, and you can buy plays to act out with the actors on screen. They call it the Family, for some reason.
