Don Cobert is a folk singer/song writer, sometimes comedian, troubadour extraordinarie.. For over two decades Don has entertained audiences large and small in clubs, theaters, clinics, festivals, colleges, officer's clubs - you name it.. all over The United States, in Bermuda and in Ireland..
Don's exceptional deep strong voice and sense of humor makes him a favorite where ever he plays. Based in the Washngton, DC area Don has performed at such venues as Ireland's Own, Nanny O'Brians, Mrs. O'Leary's, Ireland's Four Provinces, The Old Brogue, Murphy's, Pat Troy's, Kate's Irish Pub, O'Brien's, EG Magoo's, Nick's, Marco Polo's, Ireland's Four Courts, The Occoquan Inn and numerous other establishments that feature Irish and folk music..
Don worked several years for the Arlington County, Virginia Police Department until turning to music full time in the early 1980's.. Now working in a doctor's office, he still plays a regular schedule of shows in the DC area..
