About us
The Education Development United Center (EDUC) is a Non Governmental Organization operating in the field of education in the Russian Federation. We were founded in 1991 by the heads of the Foreign Departments of several leading education establishments in St. Petersburg in order to increase and simplify the admission of students from foreign shores to them (educational establishments). Our Society is registered in the Mayors office of St. Petersburg and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation (license no. RU9801). We operate through a worldwide network of highly qualified specialists and professionals who are involved in the field of educational consultation. Over 5000 students from over 45 countries have received their higher education through us for the past 10 years. Today there are more than 800 students studying through our organization in various fields.Our Activities and Goals
Handling admission for foreign candidates to educational establishments in St. Petersburg and the surrounding region. Promotion of bilateral International cooperation with educational establishments in other countries in order to implement new educational projects and exchange programs. Implementing and executing new educational Programs which are focused on the needs of the 21st century in order to upgrade educational standards and academic levels in any field. Funding and overseeing of joint research projects. Organization and the utilization of new teaching methods (distant learning programs, teaching in languages other than Russian) Exchange programs for students and professionals Human Resource Database of professionals and job oriented courses for multinational companies which are drafted as per their demands. The design & execution of programs in order to upgrade the qualifications of people who have a basic degree. Organization of scientific projects in the Baltic sea region & the Russian Federation with foreign collaboration. Take part in foreign projects & grant funds as coordinators to help and develop scientific research institutes in the Russian Federation. Bilateral exchange of knowledge across regions.
