Rottweilers are the most loving and loyal breed of dog. They are wonderful companions and family dogs. Rottweilers do however need owners who are very firm yet affectionate, once a Rottweiler loves you, he loves forever. Rottweilers do best as housedogs, having close contact with family members. He will follow you from room to room just to be near you, and if you will allow it, will be your shower partner and bed warmer. Obedience training is a must, for this dog will grow to 100 pounds in his first year.  You will never be unloved if you have a Rottweiler as a companion.
