DUE TO GEOCITIES SUCKING, MY NEW PAGE IS BEING BUILT HERE : DAVES COOLER PAGE
Hey there =) I'm a 21 yr
old kinda senior here at
UF. GO GATORS! I came
here with the intentions of
going to the vet school
but that is now up in
the air. Please don't ask me
what I'm gonna do with
my life cause that will
bring to mind the painful
realization that I will one
day have to leave college.
OK let's get this out in the
open right now - yes, I DO
live on campus still. There.
I said it. It's not that bad
though. No dorm life for
me. I'm in the apartments
on campus here for
upperclassmen. And no,
apartments on campus is
not a fancy way of saying a
dorm room! =) We have a
kitchen and living room
and 2 bathrooms here and
I got my own room too.
Um What else? I don't
have a job cause it would
take me a lot of adjusting
if I had to work that into
my schedule too. I need my
free time ya know. Plus, I
got some scholarships and
a loan so I might as well
take this time to not work
since I don't have to. After
college, we don't get that
chance again til about age
60 ya know! =)

Things that interest Dave:

-- GATOR FOOTBALL GAMES!!!!! nuff said
-- TV I love tv. Who doesn't though? Being the smart guy I am, I'll try to group these into 2 categories for your ease =)
-- Mainstream Stuff -- 90210, Party of 5, The X-Files, 7th Heaven, Buffy (and I'm sure Angel will rule too), Sabrina (when I'm home on Friday nights), and ... um ... I'll throw in Dawson's Creek too
-- Weirdo Dave Stuff - Blue's Clues, Bill Nye The Science Guy, Wishbone, I guess maybe throw Sabrina down here too, all sorts of info-mercials, QVC (but alas I don't get it on campus), home-fixer-upper shows, and lotsa other strange stuff
-- Computer stuff. I'll assume you don't think I'm too much of a computer geek since you too are online right now. I have waves of time where I'll love chatting and then when I somehow manage to survive without it. Not to say I don't like it then. Just that by some weird phenomenon, I am able to do other things without constantly thinking of who may be online right now?
-- Animals. Well that should be a DUH! I DID want to be a vet ya know people! (and no I'm not talkin about anything perverted with animals. Just animals!)
-- Doing nothing. Yes, nothing to me is actually something. There are times when I like going out and doing things but I also appreciate my time spent doing nothing. I can kick back on a weekend night and just sit here at home blasting some music and doing nothing. Weird, I know.
-- Music. OK well duh everyone likes music. I have a very wide range of likes. I have CDs ranging from Amy Grant to Rob Zombie. Country to Rap. If I had to pick a band right now to see in concert, I guess I'd have to say Aerosmith. I'll hit the main things now that I am proud to like even though they bring me some of the strangest faces I've ever seen when I proclaim devotion to: Britney Spears (and no, not just because she's easy on the eyes), Backstreet Boys, and Spice Girls.
-- Taping my friends' intramural games. I always get asked why I don't play in them but people have no idea how fun it can be to video tape them! You have to figure in the fact that I can talk trash not only about the other team but mine too. That's the fun part. You'll see no favorites being played here (most of the time) on the air. I call it like it is.
-- Women's Soccer and Volleyball games. At the risk of losing my manhood here, I will admit that these female teams are actually FUN to watch. It's a secret I just found out about near the end of August. All you men out there, give it a try sometime. And if you don't like the game, you can pick out a player or 2 to keep your attention on. =)
-- Having Bar B Q's -- I bought 2 grills last year and I get my money's worth out of them. Whether for a large gathering here before football games or for 2 or 3 people at night for steaks. Yummy! I HAVE been known to stake out a couple a teekee torches too, at risk of "burning down the entire complex" here. It's all good.
-- Drinking -- Yep You heard right. The new Dave is here to stay. As of July 26th, I have been known to WANT to drink now. Imagine that. Mind you, I'm talking about non school nights of course. I'm not planning to turn into an alcoholic just yet.
-- Bowling -- Remember back when you were like 10 and went bowling? Well, it's still fun like that! I have my own bowling ball that I got at Goodwill for $1.75 and he's awesome. I say HE because I also aquired a BSB sticker at DQ for $.50 and adorned it on my bowling ball. Now everytime I go bowling, I bring AJ along too. (yes that is my bowling ball) Just so you all know, it is great fun to go bowling when you're drunk. I never had any idea but now, there's no other way to be! (it also gives those of you who suck a decent excuse)
