Larry again ran away from the institution July 26th and was picked up by the Rock Island police
on July 30th and returned to the hospital, and Miss. Lefevere is making an appointment in the
Dermatology Department at Iowa City, as Dr. Ott thinks he has picked up Ringworm.
 
We are, therefore, delaying his transfer to Toledo until a report on his physical condition has been
received from the University Hospital.

Dear Sir:       Re: Larry Peterson
 
Larry Peterson was seen in the Dermatology Department on 8/7/'45 The boy states that about two weeks ago the nurse found a bald spot on his head.  On examination there was no florescence under the Wood's light.  I feel that this boy has an alopecia areata and that the hair is growing back in the bald spot.
 
I would recommend that no treatment be used.
