This is a letter I had written for my Love and had published on Themestream. I
recieved MANY wonderful responses to it.  It states how appreciative I am of the
way I Love You doesn't always have to be said, but acted on:

I Love You
by Marianna Keough
March 10, 2001

How do I say I love you so you know these words are meant from my heart and not
just words I say as you walk out the door. How do I say these words so you can
feel the warmth they give my own heart as I say them...

I love you for the little things you do...like the times you spend your last few
dollars on that special piece of chocolate cake at the bakery to appease my
craving...

I love you for the time you searched high and low for the last eight bottles of
my favorite perfume.

I love you for the hard work and effort you give to support us financially,
going that one extra mile to make sure we are always taken care of...

I love you for how you want me to take care of you. You're a very strong man,
independent and yet, you show me how much you appreciate this little deed with
your smile.

I love you for how you look at me, no matter if I just wake up or after a hard
day of work. In your eyes, I see the reflection of the most beautiful woman in
the world.

I love you for how you worry about my safety. How you dropped everything to find
me when my bus was an hour late.

I love you for how you surprise me with flowers for no special reason.

I love you for how you take the dogs out in the bitter cold just so I don't have
to.

I love you for the dreams we share, the emotions we can express to each other,
the way you never inhibit me or laugh at me for silly choices.

I love how in your little way, you teach me.

I love you not for the words we have made so easy to say, I love you from the
depths of my heart.

I love you as I have always thought there to be love in this world. If you were
not my man, I would love you as a human being for your heart, your strengths,
your ideals and your goals.

I love how you care, how you try, how you want to succeed in life.

I love you for being such a strong person mentally and physically.

I love how your words can make me melt even after all this time.

I love your heart the most. It's filled with warmth and love and even though you
present yourself as a 'he-man', you are really the sweetest, most caring man I
have ever known.

I love how supportive you are in all I do.

When we first met, we decided to not say these words until they really meant
what they were suppose to. For in this life, it has become so common, so
misused, that the true meaning of these three little words have lost all their
appeal.

I can honestly tell you now that my life had never truly known or understood the
true meaning of these words until I met you and with you, they have grown, they
have been branded onto my heart and they mean the world to me as you do.

I love you in the most treasured, true definition.
