February 2000.

Bad news this month for Jaguar as the Ford Cosworth Engine suffers serious oil circulations and oil pump drive shaft problems. Johnny Herbert and Eddie Irvine set times of 1m22.80s and 1m22.90s placing them 13th and 14th. Rival drivers stated that the R1 did not perform good on the few occasions it was out on the track at Barcelona.
