INTRODUCTION

Hallo....
Thank you very much for joining in my website. My name is Ganden Supriyanto. I come from Indonesia. I was born in Jombang, East Java. I have been working under
Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Science
Airlangga University Surabaya since 1993. And from 1995 until 1997 I studied Environmental Science and Technology at
IHE Delft The Netherlands. In the first of August I am starting my study at the
Institute for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry
Free University Berlin for my Dr. rer. nat. degree because I am getting a fellowship from
DAAD(Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst). I am interested in
Flow Injection Analysis (FIA). I would like to use chromatomembrane cell to analyze such compounds in pharmaceutical product. I will be working in a group under guidance of
Prof. Dr. Juergen Simon.

ABOUT MY COUNTRY
Indonesia is a vast archipelago in Southeast Asia made up of over 17.000 islands straddles the equator, home of more than 200 million people speaking close at 400 languages and divided into 26 provinces. Indonesia is rich with hundreds of ethnic groups, each with its own unique cultures and age old traditions. The country also has many monuments,
flora and
fauna, nature reserve and archaeological artifacts which attract visitors from other nations. The name Indonesia has its roots in two Greek words: "Indos" meaning Indian and "Nesos" which means islands. It is an appropriate description of the archipelago as there are estimated to be a total of 17,508 islands, of which only about 6,000 are inhabited, stretching for 5,150 km between the Australian and Asian continental mainland's and dividing the Pacific and Indian Oceans at the Equator.Five main islands and 30 smaller archipelagoes are home to the majority of the population. The main islands are
Sumatra (473,6O6 sq.km), Kalimantan 1539,400 sq.km), Sulawesi l 189,216 sq. km), Papua Island (421,981 sq.km), and last but not least Java (132,187 sq.km), home to 70 percent of the country's population. Indonesia shares Province of Papua with Papua New Guinea and two thirds of the island of Kalimantan with Malaysia and Borneo. The islands and people of Indonesia constitute the fourth most populated nation in e world. As a democratic republic, Indonesia is divided into 26
provinces and special territories and classified geographically into four groups. First are the Greater Sundas, made up of the larger islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. Second are the Lesser Sundas, consisting of smaller islands from
Bali eastward to Timor. Third is Maluku which includes all the islands between Papua Island and Sulawesi. The fourth and final group is Papua in the extreme eastern part of the country.
If you hava an opportunity and enough time to make a travel to Indoneisia and enjoy culture, art, and ecological tourism, you can find all informations

International Association on Water Quality, because I can meet the other people who are interested too in Environmental Technology and its application. Or I preffer to look for international journal in
Elsevier website, such as Environmemtal Science and Technology, Water Research, and Spectroscopy journal.
When you have enough time, you can visit website that I preffer to visit too such as
www.habibie.ristek.go.id.
