Years into the future, a newly constructed space colony known as Terra Venture blasted off from the planet Earth in search of a whole new world. While it was in the preparation stages, a bold, young man named Leo snuck onboard the space colony. He meets two of the workers, Kendrix and Kai, while onboard. However, to prevent from getting caught, he ended up accompanying the GSA troops to the moon on a practice field. During the training exercise, a strange portal opened up, and a mysterious girl fell through.
The girl, whose name was Maya, informed Leo, along with Kendrix, Kai, and Leo's brother Mike, that her planet Mirinoi was under attack by the evil forces of Scorpius, who was after the legendary Quasar Sabers embedded in a stone on Mirinoi. Team leader Mike agrees to help her, and he takes Kendrix with him, but he has Leo stay behind, not wanting his little brother to be involved. While Mike, Kendrix, and Maya step into the portal, Kai accompanies Leo back to Terra Venture, but at the last second, Leo turns back and bolts through the portal!...
