ABOUT MYSELF

Greetings!!! Welcome to Melissa's Web page.
To begin with I am a seventeen-year-old girl, born and raised in the beautiful city of San Antonio Texas. I attend a magnificent school; Project Phoenix, which is a program where I receive college, credits while still attending high school. I came to Project Phoenix to become part of the Hospitality program, particularly the management positions.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
|
|
My experience in the hospitality industry has been exciting. During my junior year at Project Phoenix, I was enrolled in a hospitality course where we visited the Holiday Inn Select three days a week. We went through seven different rotations, every two weeks. Some of which are maintenance, banquets, and kitchen, among many more. I also had the opportunity to job shadow the general manager of the hotel, Jeff Bermel. He showed me numerous tactics, particularly how to deal with angry customers. At this point I am currently enrolled in two college classes.

FUTURE GOALS
|
As for my future I plan on continuing my education here at St. Philips College, receive a degree in the hospitality industry, and work my way up from there. Perhaps owning my own business someday!!!!!!!!!!!!
