Born the 1st of February. Miguel Angel was the first of two children born at the Baptist Memorial Hospital, San Antonio, Texas. Second, Suzanna Laura, born 28th of May 1986. Parents Josephine and Antonio Rodriguez. Miguel was diagnosed with a heredity disease, Type II diabetes age 13, December 1996. Miguel's father was murdered February 1991, leaving Miguel to grow up very fast at a young age of only Seven. Help raising his four-year-old sister became his new life long objective. So after surviving harsh physical and mental obstacles, Miguel learned to face any and all problems by reading and applying his knowledge of what he read. Self-teaching himself to repair things help save money and helped his family. Striving toward learning made Miguel a stronger individual and leader. Miguel Angle's interests include technology, applied science, and mathematics. Drawing, writing, singing, dancing and computer drafting are among some of his hobbies that are supported by his family. Miguel Angel was also engaged in Karate training (1992-1995), receiving both red and orange belts, beginning yellow belt, but never completing. Attended San Antonio Pre-Freshmen Engineering Program (PREP) mathematical training, summer 1995 and summer 1996. Received D.A.T./Sound Technician training, Infinity Band. Volunteer festival worker and choir member, St. James Apostle Church (1996-Present). St. Matthew's Sport Camp volunteer, (Summer 1995 and Summer 1996) assistant. Mathematics tutor for friends and family. "1997 MVP" Baseball A-Team player (1994-1997). Two years A-Team Basketball player (1995-1997). Two years Summer Volleyball Player (1995-1997). Participated in Drama/Yearbook (1996-1997), National Junior Honor Society (1996-1997)Treasurer, Burbank Class Council (1997-1998) First Treasurer, Burbank Student Council Member (1997-1998), and "The Phoenix" newsletter writer (1999). | |||||||||||||||||||||||
