Profile: Vector is an UAA high officer who
is the direct ear and mouth for Muria; a strange possition for a Murian rebel!
Vector has expressed his anti-Murian thinking clearly, yet
he is still a patriot to Murian. This duality isn't as opposing as it might first be
seen.
You must understand that most Murians see themselves as
adults talking to small children to the rest of Algolian nations. Murian are
pro-psionic and hyper-technologists, having surpassing the surronding planet, thanks to
reclaiming the lost secrets of the Black Tower and hoarding the inheritance to themselves.
Vector doesn't believe this is the right, thus this is why he has kept his
spectacles when Murian technology could easily correct his sigh. As a personal
protest to Muria that they should share their technology to the rest of Algol--after all,
don't all Algolians come from the same fabled colonists?
Even with the 'Murian Peace', Vector smells something
terribly wrong about the whole thing, but has no evidence for him to mention more than
this.
This anti-Murian attitude made him the perfect choice as
the resisdent Murian ambassador to UAA. Though Vector sees this the greatest
oppotunity for him to try and change the common policies of Muria with 'outsiders' and
discover more on the 'Murian Peace', Vector's sure that his posting to UAA was both a joke
by the Murian High Officials, and to get rid of a potentially dangerous Murian discident.
Personally, Vector is having the last laugh, stationed on
the only other place that's a relic to the original colonists, left mostly untouched by
Murian religious authorities to squash the 'truth'
