"Some pilots think there's a symbiotic relationship between Man and Mekton – that the machine becomes an extension of yourself, integrated into the whole of mind body-spirit.  This, ladies and gentlemen, is a crock.  Don't get caught up in this delusion!  A Mekton is a means to an end; you use it to attack the enemy and to protect yourself.  You are the weapon the Mekton is a tool.  Nothing more, nothing less."

Major Altair Attaris, from his speech to the Graduating cadets of the EMA.

What is the Algol Project?
Is an ongoing project to expand the first Game World universe created by R. Talsorian Games, that now seems, long abandoned. It is here where we the fans of Algol, gather and add to the Algolian world and the Imperial Empire they escaped from.

Aggendi/Algoli Hybrids:
Rob Knotts placed up his Hu-Gendi Race to the list, about a Algol/Aggendi race, and it spawned three more hybrid sub-race concepts.

  1. Hu-Gendi — by Rob Knotts.
(PC-Race): Historically shunned minority on Algol displaying Aggendi characteristics.
  2. Nightmares — by Sir Luckio.
(NPC-Race): Hidden agents of the Massmind activated by Dremmond.
  3. Goblins — by Rook.
(PC-Race): Young people who developed Aggendi characteristics after Dremmond activated the Massmind.
  4. Hybrids — by Lord Ebonflack.
(NPC-Race): Ebonflack's version of a Aggendi/Algolian hybrid he had made for his Fuzion game.  With some modification this race could theorectically become a PC-Race.

What is the Rimfire?
Rimfire, (short for Mekton — Operation: Rimfire,) was the best module ever produced for Mekton that really brought Anime to the game.  Though it was made in the old Mekton II edition rules, it still stands the best source for Algolian world and the most complete guide to the Algolian life.  Here at this web, Rimfire has been revived in a PBeM game run in MZ.  As such changes have been made, but the essence of the module is still here. Note: Rimfire is the name of the only UAA Vessel produced.
