This line gave me trouble for a long while since my Great-Great Grandmother was refered to by many name's. I found out that a big part of that was becasue she was born before her parents wed, so she had her mother's surname of Smith. But her birth father later officially adopted her giving her the surname of Heyse. After the death of my Great-Great Grandfather she remarried and she was refered to as 'Grandma Blue' in some documents because that was her surname's from her second marriage. To add to the confusion, her mother, who also went by Pearl, is refered to by three surname's as well so we have several 'Grandma Pearl's and Grandma Pearle's', with 5 different surnames.
For the purposes of this website I have maintained her birth surname.
Given how common the name Smith is I do not expect to make any further progress on this line.

Married 3rd Joseph Albert Ford after 1917. Died 9 Jan 1934 in Vermontville, Eaton Co., MI. Burried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Vermontville, Eaton Co., MI.
She resided in Sherman Twp., Mason Co.

My Great-Great Grandmother, Anna Pearl(e) Smith
Born 27 July 1894 in Sherman Township, Mason Co., MI, USA. She died 25 July 1971 in Big Rapids, Mecosta Co., MI and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. She married 1st in Charlotte, MI on 23 Dec. 1911 to George Melvin Root. After his death in 67 she later married 2nd Ralph Blue.
She is listed as a Methodist and residing in Baldwin at 1011 E. Washington.
8 or 9 Children:
also have strong reason to believe that Melvin Lenord Root was a child of Melvin/George and Pearl, but have no proof. Melvin died Dec 7th 1941 aboard the U.S.S. Arizona in the attack on Pearl Harbor, HI.
