"Welcome Aboard !"

"A Boys Dream Comes True !"
Back when man 1st started using rockets, I was very young. I would dream of humanity venturing out among the stars. 20 years have gone by and we yet have ventured only a stones throw, but very soon, I do believe that will change.
Current research in micro-mechanics,(Nanotechnology) will soon leap us into a New Space-Age. Imagine manufacturing plants the size of a microwave oven, churning out parts from civilizations refuse, at a cost of practically nill.
"Betacor2, My 3D world and imaginary construction zone."
I'm a proud owner of a 3D virtual world located in activeworlds, a virtual world community with hundreds of different types of 3D worlds, all at one location. the Url to there is, http://www.activeworlds.com and once there, you can download there "Free" software which will let you navigate, explore and build things.
I'm currently designing objects for my world,(Betacor2) with which to build with. Once I've made enough of my own objects, I'll be taking pictures of what I've built in my world, and post them here. I'll also try making some videos and hopefully posting them as well.
Right now though, I'm just into my 2nd year of understanding computer jargon, so bear with me, cause self-learning is at times slow. I usually crash my computer once or twice a month,,,lol, but I never give up !
Oh to be young again, going to school in these modern times. The kids of 2,000 sure are lucky! I just hope that they appreciate the generations before them. I know that there's a lot of bad comments about humanities past transgressions, but When a civilization 1st comes of age to assert values and morals upon a wide space, hardships are but a given. We ought learn the bad and good together, and try restraint towards the bad we know and understand as wrong.
In the year 2,020, We may be a civilization of star travelers."
As current technological advances keep accellerating and the worlds'information highway coninues to grow, chances are good that today's grade-schoolers will be tommorrows space pilots that will take us beyond our galaxy.
