April 9, 2000 I look at the pillow where you head used to lye Now I lay my head where yours belongs and all I can do is cry I think back to the nights I would watch you sleep Now all I have is memories and pain that runs so deep What did I do wrong? What can I make right? All I want is another chance. I can?t wait to see you tonight When I close my eyes, I see your beautiful face smiling back at me When I open my eyes, I realize you are only in my dreams I try to run away from the tears but they keep on following me I try to forget about you but it is not so easy I remember the first time we kissed and dancing on your toes I hold onto everything and stare at the dried up rose I want to taste your salty lips after you kiss away my tears Tell me how much you?ve missed me so I can face the mirror It?s been 7 days since you left me void and without care I met someone and he was perfect but to you he did not compare He was everything I could ever want ...except he was not you I did everything I was supposed to. The only thing I didn?t plan on was falling in love with you. We come from different stories. We lead 2 separate lives. Without you in my happy ending, I feel like I could die. You and I Us requires U And without U We do not exist As much as I give And as hard as i try Why must you resist You say its our differences They keep us apart When we are together Just listen to your heart Our differences are many They make us who we are Two very different people that share a common star Over... Our time has slipped through our grasp No words can revive the past I took your pictures and hid them away I tried to choke back the tears when I walked away I search for meaning I gasp for breath Smiles Frustration endures suffering Suffering evokes pain Pain involves hurt Hurt remembers love Love recalls tears Tears emit memories Memories bring smiles Moistened Lips Innocent Words Uncomfortable Silence Love. Waiting Anticipating Watching Wondering Crumbling Melting Searching Running Out of Time. Love abound Creates illusions of light Shattering walls once shadowed Flames ignite passion Melting the hallucinations lonliness Darkness filters in formed from drips of saline | ||||||||||||||||
