Sarah McLachlan | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
I'm 20 years old, from Canada, and I love Sarah McLachlan, 80's music, and rubbing my cratch on Michelles'rump! <--- did you like that Michelle? Everyone know's you did, baaaaaah! Tee hee, here is a little tangent for you: If anyone viewing this was at Lilith in Vancouver in '98 you will understand my next statement... It was my ass on the right ;) This page has had nothing but Sarah pictures on it for too long. I'm trying to spice it up a bit and put some interesting things in here. I hope that you enjoy what you find and if you have any feedback I'd love to hear it. I just want e-mail, damnit! Send me e-mail!!! Tee hee hee
Robert Jordan | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
For those of you who are familiar with this author please tell me if you think I should add anything, or if you have anything relevant to say. For everybody else: YOU HAVE TO READ THESE BOOKS!!! tee hee Seriously, they are the best books I have ever read. They combine a type of magic, some general heroism, dirty polotics, crime (did I just repeat myself?), philosophy, and romance that will have a whole generation of young virgins crying themselves to sleep every night. The size of the series (The Wheel of Time) is a little intimidating but don't let that scare you. The size of the books allows you to become very well aquainted with the characters. The world and lives that Jordan has created is so detailed that you feel like you know the characters, that you can see the places. There are currently 8 books with the 9th expected in the next few months I hope. If anyone wants to share their oppinions about the books, or just to discuss them, you know where to reach me. And NO! That is not some kind of S&M thing in the picture to the left. It is called an a'dam, and it is a collar and leash used by women... hmmm, maybe it is sort of S&M-esk...
Literature | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
The poem I am going to post here for now is one of my favorites if for no other reason than it is almost brutally direct with it's message. | It is one of William Blakes Songs of Experience. It's not as popular as The Tiger, or The Lamb, but I've got my own tastes, so there! I owe my Literary appreciation to my Lit teacher, Chris Watson. Chris, if you are reading this I want to say thanks. You opened my mind to all these amazing works, I can't thank you enough. Your class is what I looked forward to every week, and I'll always remember sitting around the oval table upstairs, listening to you read The Rime of The Ancient Mariner. Oh, and by the way, O'Connel is stil my favorite *Northern Exposure* Okay, on with the poetry! A Poison Tree I was angry with my friend: I told my friend, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe: I told him not, my wrath did grow. And I watered it in fears, Night and morning with my tears: And I sunned it with smiles, And with soft deceitful wiles. And it grew both day and night, Till it bore an apple bright. And my foe beheld it shine, And he knew that it was mine. And into my garden stole, When the night had veiled the pole; In the morning glad I see, My foe outstretched beneath the tree. William Blake (1757-1827)
