| The Queen | The name Texas drama queen started when a friend started calling me the drama queen because I teach drama at my church for the youth. It stuck and has become Texas drama queen, not in reference to my attitude, but my ability. | |||||||||||||||||||

This is a saying I think of daily to remind myself of how I should live each day. Live By Faith- you live not in yourself, but in Christ, and Faith is the foundation of the Christian life. Reside in Joy- each day, joy is not found in happiness, but in true joy, a condition of the heart, not a state of mind. Joy is found in knowing Christ died for us, and knowing that our salvation is in Him. Reveal Christ- every day, in all we do, we must strive to live as our savior would, and reveal His love to others at all times. Nothing of mine would be complete without a mention of the place outside my own home and my heavenly home that is dearest to my heart. And that is the State of Texas. Only a Texan can understand Texas pride. But if you want a taste of the best food, the best people, and the most beautiful country around, visit Texas and do it soon. Favorite places for me are, San Antonio (awesome food, great history and romance central), Dallas (home) and the Texas hill country (where beauty and simplicity abound). | |||||||||||||||||||
