Our Goal
|
|
Our goal is to document every type of "official" license plate ever produced in the U.S. (This is, plates produced by or for a jurisdiction to be used as a valid registration plate.) We hope to eventually include every state and territory, every vehicle class, every type of vanity, and from every year. Clearly, this is an ambitious goal, and the recent huge increase in the number of types of plates available makes it that much harder.

This page is in the very earliest stages of construction. Please check back frequently, as we hope to add exciting content on a regular basis.
Photo submissions (preferably jpeg or gif) are welcomed, as well as any pertinent accompanying information. Photos should be of decent resolution, preferable straight-on, and with the plate filling the majority of the image. (Of course, if the resolution is sufficiently high, we can yank just the area of interest.)
This project will ultimately serve as a valuable reference tool for all, but to succeed, we need your help!
