What makes a good website? Uniqueness for one. Here is a compendium of actually good sites you should visit. Trust me you'll enjoy them.
 Overall Good Sites

Shinra Online
Indeed, the best Final Fantasy-based forum site on the net. It is far different than the many boring forums around, and at least in this one, the dumb newbie questions such as "How do I revive Aeris?", which might I add is everywhere on FFOnline, is held down to one forum. Shinra Online is really an online community more than anything. You aren't banned upon joining, the mods are actually friendly, and there is even a place to spam if you're in the mood. Shinra Online also holds several contests other forums don't even bother with. There is the Flame Tournament, FF Debates and Trivia Tournaments, Art/Image-making contests, etc. They even have their own money system. Once you go to SO, it is doubtful that you would even bother with the other forums again.

Oh no! Not another Final Fantasy 7 Webpage!
The greatest fan fiction site you can find. And, unlike many other fanfic sites, the author is actually a good writer. Most of the fanfics are written by one person, Frank. He has porobably put in years worth of work into his creations. His best is the "Internet Series" which is a group of 7 novels based on what occurs after the end of FF7. In total, the entire series is about 1000 pages, so you'll be busy. Don't have too much time, take a look at the Drama section for shorter stories based a few characters of FF7. I really suggest Balance of Power and Shards. They are simply terrific and well written works.

Beta Final Fantasy
Need a good laugh? Look no furthur than BetaFF. Though BFF is not a true Final Fantasy site, it is more of a "fan" site on the fan sites, They spill the "truth" about many of the FF webmasters, and they never hold back. Of course it is all for fun, though many on the receiving don't like it, it is surely good advertising. One constant of BFF is that the webmaster, known as Dh, is the butt of all jokes, and well-deservedly to.
