FFOnline's General Chat Forum Final Fantasy Online: General Chat    It is a wonder how some people kill time. Normally a forum is supposed to provide boredom relief, assistance, or some form of Intelligent Discussion. FFOnline's General Chat Forum meets none of that criteria, but let's take a look at the forum people waste 30 minutes of spamming to get to. Attention: You cannot get into the FFO General Chat unless you are a registered member with 40 or more posts.    At first glance it is blatantly obvious how bad the forum is. Well, here is an analysis of FFO's favorite forum. I have noted specific spots of interest (a hald-fast job!). Advertising on one's own site. Perhaps this is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen. It can't be a ploy to get additional hits because hits are counted on every page (and forum, hence FFO's "20 Million hit count" which is really comprised of a meager 10,000 or so visitors just leafing through the forums). Perhaps Fearless leader believes that people will copy the banner and paste it on their own page, but that can't be true as he can't pay for bandwith himself. By getting more people to use the page, he is literally causing his own demise. Or perhaps, his former advertisements aren't paying him anymore, so he needs to fill some dead space. One thing's for sure, I have a good idea with that... FFOnline has recently opened up a shop. Now this shop is obviously not their shop, it is an extension of a "Final Fantasy Store" some place in Middletown New York. No offense to the game and merchandise, but I'm willing to bet that this "Final Fantasy Store" is a quaint little alcove in some BS EBworld (or whatever GKworld is). They must be giving FFO a commission but if I were you, I'd stick with my local Electronics Boutique. The FF IRC Chat hosted by ffchat.net. I was only able to survive in there for 10 minutes before being banned by saying Shinra Online. According to Lanham, that is a capital offense. Though it would help FFO dearly if they lost some members. Jobs! I suggest you read BetaFF's FFO Job's for Gerbils article before applying. Last time I looked, there were News Editor jobs open, but of course, they been open for years. Here is a short quote from their policy: "News editors don't just spit out facts in a boring, monotonus manner, but provide flare and spice and can retrospect on previous news coverage or intelligent personal reflection to better solidify their article. News editors are required to provide at least 2 updates per week. College education is recommended, but not required. Knowledge of HTML is not necessary." I think that cancels out all of the Administrators of FFOnline. Wannabe Nazis. I have come across many people saying that the FFO Administration is just a bunch of Nazis but in my opinion, they don't deserve to be called that. The National Socialist party of Germany is a feared group. They were able to conquer most of Europe, and were nearly successful in beating Great Britain. Their leader was probably one of the most powerful speakers in the world, and giving the devil his due, one of the most brilliant political thinkers (keep in mind that I do NOT condone his actions). The FFO Admins aren't half the men the Nazis were, and will never be that. They can ban people all they want, they'll be powerless and hated. Heh, somebody IS desperate. Read the article about Donation's Anybody? If you don't know, you should now, Dh is the fearless leader of FFO. He rarely participates in his own forum though. Strange how a FFO Admin (Call) did actually participate. Give this guy a promotion. I think the "What's the dumbest thing you ever done?" crack is pretty straight forward. Yes, FFO Users must be woefully brainwashed if they posted more than 40 times to get to General Chat. You can only imagine my misery!    Hmm, that seemed more like an entire page analysis, well, leave it to me to trail off. There you have it anyway, FFO General Chat sucks ass. Support the anti-FFO resistance by posting something stupid 40 times and annoy the people in General Chat cause really they can be annoying themselves.
