Certain free ISPs, free e-mail services, and America Online users are not permitted to register on this forum. If you use a free e-mail service, yet pay for your access to the Internet, it is recommended you use the e-mail address indigenous to your ISP account. All ISPs provide e-mail addresses to paying customers. If you register with an e-mail that the forums claims is banned, you will need to either use a different e-mail service or the address provided by your ISP. Do not contact us if your e-mail address is banned. Basically we don't want poor ass bitches like us posting in this forum. If you are too cheap to pay for the internet, you can go to hell. Why? Cause we can't pay for bandwith so we need to block out the majority of prospective users.

If you're an America Online user and wish to register, contact our forum department and request a user name and password and we'll be glad to manually create an account for you. You must provide your AOL e-mail address, as you'll be mailed your account information for activation. Please expect a 60 day wait. 59 days to check our email for the request, and one day of flipping a coin whether to put you in or not.

Welcome to the Final Fantasy Online community. The following agreement outlines the required behavior and conduct we expect from our registered members. This is your first and last warning. Since your probably not going to read this anyway, what's the point?

- No Spamming
Post relevant topics and replies pertaining to subject matter consistent with the forum you're posting in. Expressing your ideas, agreements and disagreements, and thoughts are always welcome. Harassment, offensive behavior, and disrespect towards administrators and other users will result in your account and IP being banned. If you're the first offending user of an allowed free ISP service, your entire ISP will be banned. This action is the consequence of all following guidelines unless otherwise noted. Note that you can post a one word reply in polls even though that is technically spamming because that is really all the action that happens here anyway.

- No Advertising
Advertising is not permitted. Do not post threads or replies for the sole purpose of advertising your site. You're welcome to offer links to your site in your signature. Advertising will result in your account being terminated without notice and all posts you've made being deleted. You're free to advertise for us by spamming other forums with the ffonline.com address though.

- No Vigilanties
You are not an administrator. If you find an offensive post that breaches our guidelines, bring it to the attention of our staff. Engaging in conflicts with other users is not tolerated. You will be rewarded* especially for reports of wise cracks about the admins. Double the reward* for any reports on the mention of gerbils. Your reward is subject to fees which we use to pay for our wonderful forum service cause our owner is too piss poor to pay for it.

- Brief Signatures
Keep your signature brief. Extremely large signatures which take up a large amount of browser space, take a long time to load, or break the formatting of the forums, are not permitted. You're welcome to express yourself in a tasteful manner all you like, but it's not necessary to go overboard. Users who abuse the signature feature will have it revoked. This rule was created because our fearless leader has too little funds to buy a 56K, and his 28K can't handle the 10K sig images.

- No ROM or MP3 Requests
We do not allow the discussion, linking, or trading of copyrighted materials such as game roms and soundtrack music. Any user who posts a reply or a thread with such material will be banned without notice. You are free however to provide ROMs to Spanky as he needs them to work on the upcoming FF4 section of the site. Unfortunately Mr. Gerbil Stuffer works at his local 99 cent store, and can't buy a $5 SNES and the $2 games.

- Have Fun
It's not that hard. Discuss the series among the community or participate in the off-topic forums. Behave like a human being that has been brought up with common sense and intelligence and there won't be a problem. If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints regarding the forums, a user, or even an administrator, bring it to our attention. We're here to help. Fun is a three letter word. We cannot guarantee this "fun" nor can we guarantee happiness, euphoria, etc, but we can guarantee a lack thereof. All complaints will be reviewed in exactly 45 days, and you will be banned tomorrow.

Final Fantasy Online features a General Chat forum for off-topic general discussion to members who have posted a certain number of times and have been an active forum member through positive contribution. Spamming in order to increase your post count for access to this forum will result in account termination without notice. Note that general discussion only includes boring topics such as What are your favorite colors?, What was your first word?, or your favorite movie? Note that these topics can occur more than once. Here is a quick peek at the forum. Note that you may not post anything about drinking, high school or sex cause none of us has ever experienced them, but you are more than free to talk about gerbils.

Although we will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither Final Fantasy Online or Jelsoft Enterprises Limited (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message. Actually we are always at FFO and have no lives, so we DO review all messages, and you will be banned if you say anything intelligent.

We have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread, and ban any user for any reason. We have absolutely no lives cause we suck at them, so expect us to ban people liberally. It is the only thing that makes us feel good inside other than gerbils.
