Locke
Well, it is always good to back up BS, and what better than to go to the source. Of course the source is very elusive. I have yet to get into an IM Conversation with Dh, so why not go to an extension of him, (that is, someone on his extension) Locke. I have spoke to Locke a few times in the past, and it is incredibly difficult to have an intelligent conversation. But what the hell, the FFO Admins have no intelligence anyway, so I present to you, in it's uneditted form, the Sephy-Locke Interview.
The following interview was held in AIM, and the true handles are as follows:
Myself is headofsapo
Locke is Sotzergias
Myself: Hey Locke
Locke: Need something or aren't you getting enough abuse from other sources?
Myself: Don't worry, FFCrap is doing just fine
Locke: Well, whatever that is, good for you. Or something.
Myself: Heh, well, I could use your input
Myself: http://envy.nu/ffcrap
Locke: Fine, but I've only got about ten free minutes to mock you, so don't not feel insulted when I log off.
Myself: Ok, knock yourself out
Locke: Wow, an amalgam of of inane ranting with zero evidence. I applaud your masterful use of the spellchecker, though. Three cheers for software.
Myself: So, how do you feel about all these derogitory comments against FFOnline?
Locke: It's pretty amusing. If you'd perhaps made a shred of an attempt to support them, it might even have been worth reading. Say, how many of those 120 hits are you? 110?
Myself: Nah, mostly from BetaFF
Myself: Ok, how do you feel about Dh putting up a Donate article, and literally begging for cash?
Locke: You mean what do I think of him doing what many, many other high-content, popular internet sites have been doing to pay for bandwidth? About requesting that people who enjoy the site and forumers who literally spend hours of their day there show their support for it?
Locke: About how the money goes directly to the service provider and not to him? What do I think about that? I think it's just fine.
Myself: But how the hell do you expect people to pay for a forum with absolute boredom? Unlike Shinra Online which is a clear community.
Locke: You do understand that, unlike Shinra Online, the forums are the least important aspect of FFO, right?
Locke: And that sites aren't just about their messageboards, right?
Locke: Chew on that while I head out.
Locke signed off at 1:13:02 PM.
Myself: Messageboards seem to be the meat of your "20 million hits".

Unfortunately, Locke had to go (like he really has a life anyway) in the middle of the so-called interview. But even from what I got, you can see how much of a bitch he can be. For more coverage of Locke, read my article about Lanham
