The high-energy, alternative rock band know as The Common Ground consists of the four talented, humble musicians and songwriters. Each is dedicated to producing professional, enjoyable music through hard work, synergy and faith in each other. The Common Ground creates an original sound that will pour through your soul.

Al Jones and Erik Hancock have been friends for many years, and through those years have written and performed numerous songs. However, when Eddy Williams joined the band, all the pieces fell into place. Their friendship and commitment to their life-long dream became their COMMON GROUND. Then Matt McCleary, a very talented drummer, joined in late 2000 to make The Common Ground complete.

Al Jones' base is the foundation on which the rhythm of their songs is created. His tracks and song writing techniques are fresh and unique. Much can be expected from this twenty-three year old overachiever!

Erik Hancock is the song writing backbone of the band. With his storytelling lyrics and amazing melodic guitar, he will keep this young band working for years to come.

Eddy Williams incredible vocals and invigorating stage presence captivates his audiences. His ability to sing from the heart and bring his listeners with him as he sings brings everything together to give the ultimate performance.

Matt McCleary has been honing his drumming skills for the last 14 years and it shows. He has talent and enthusiasm that gives The Common Ground a unique and exciting musical style.
