The Place of Monuments
Up above, on a smooth slope, there protrudes a cave out of the ground. The mouth of the cave is a swallow of darkness, but the gray rocks clearly illuminate the entrance. Even for it's darkness, the cave does not look imposing, but rather it seems to beckon to its treasures within. An irresistible pull on the mind . . .
Once inside the cave, wall sconces with torches light the way. Funny, though, that the light was not seen on the outside of the cave . . .
Deeper inside the air becomes cooler and lighter, as if a vent has been carved way back into the deep recesses of the cave, but it's too dark, to see. A turn looms up ahead, and once around it, there lies the treasure of the cave. Many paintings and carvings adorn the walls with their artistry and traditions. The ancient traditions that once permeated much area on this planet are carried on here . . .

This was my third cross. It was designed for a fellow musician, thus Irish lyres and pan pipes on the ends.
This was my fourth cross. I had no real idea behind it, it was just created for another friend.
My version of the infamous "Love Knot." I created this for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day.
This one is just a small piece of knotwork I created for no reason either. It reminds me of a small decoration or a pendant for a necklace.
This is one of my first serious attempts at coloring my knotwork. And I have discovered that I don't have a talent for color schemes. Even still, I like the knotwork behind the colors. It is called the Butterfly Mask because it reminds me of a butterfly and a costume masque that might have been worn to a ball in ages past.
This is some of my other work, outside of the Celtic Knotwork. Stained Rose is a personal concept idea of mine, which I will gladly share with anyone interested, but for now I'm just going to post this by itself.
This is Fooph the lil' dragon, friend of the Grove. This is the only image of Bug's I have on here.
I am still scanning images and creating new knotwork. Please check back soon.
