Maximillian's Pionus
These pionus aren’t as brightly colored as the others, but they are the largest of the group. They are mostly green, with blue or purple at their throat, and a purple and blue head. Their head looks like it has scales on it, and that is how the bird got its nickname, "Scaly Headed Pionus." Their eye ring is white, and their beak is horn colored. Babies have green heads with white speckles, and some babies have a bit of red on their foreheads. They can learn to talk.
