Hello, I am Mango, and I hatched on September 14 of 1999. I was weaned at a bird shop called the Birdy Boutique. It was a really cool store with lots of other birds, toys, cages, and playpens for sale. They also had this really big store bird named Colipso (or however it is spelled). He was a scarlet macaw. If you would like to visit their site, go to www.birdieboutique.com. So, anyway, a month or so before I was weaned, I met my family-to-be. They came into the store and looked at all of the baby birds. They didn't notice me, because they were thinking of buying another one. But, all of the birds they wanted had been sold and were finishing weaning. So, they bought me instead. Every day, they came to the shop and took me out of my cage. When I was weaned, I went home and they gave me a great big cage and a bunch of toys. Now, here I am, six months old, making this website. (It is 2000 right now). |
