BITING

Biting is a classic problem among birds. Some birds bite when they are in their cages. this is for territorial reasons. others bite when they are frightened, and some bit when they are angry. When a bird bites when it is frightened, it is purely instinctive. It can't fly away from the danger, so it attacks. If your bird becomes frightened and bites you, you don't necesarily hav to worry about it not liking you. When birds are territorial, it is important to show them who is boss. To do this, simply rearrange your bird's cage. If that doesn't work, move its cage to another part of the room. And if that doesn't work, move the cage to another room. Just make sure that you do not frighten your bird in doing this. Also, whenever your bird bites, it is important that you do no show fear, no matter how afraid you may be. Instead of pulling back quickly when your bird bites, push your hand towards the bird. This will show it that biting won't solve its problems.

SCREAMING

Yet another classic problem. Screaming, like biting, can be difficult to stop, because once a bird learns something, i is hard to get it to learn the opposite. Therefore, it takes a lot of work to get your bird to stop biting and screaming. Howver, it can be done. When your bird screams, it most likely wants attention. Therefore, it is important that you give your bird the attention it needs. However, you must show your bird that screaming is not going to get it what it wants. To do this, wait a minute or two after your bird starts screaming and then get it out of its cage instead of running to the cage immediately.

INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE USAGE

Like biting and screaming, it takes a bit of work to get your bird to stop using inappropriate language. However, with time and patience, it can be done. Whenever your bird uses inappropriate language, say something so that it cannot be heard. However, make sure that, in doing so, you are not giving attention to the bird. That would encourage it to use foul words. Instead, pay no attention to the bird. After all, birds often talk for attention, and if a bird gets no attention with a certain word, it will be useless to it.
