Instead of pulling back quickly when your bird bites, push your hand towards the bird. This will show it that biting won't solve its problems.

Yet another classic problem. Screaming, like biting, can be difficult to stop, because once a bird learns something, i is hard to get it to learn the opposite. Therefore, it takes a lot of work to get your bird to stop biting and screaming. Howver, it can be done. When your bird screams, it most likely wants attention.
