More Instructions

One of the best sites, and the one you should go to first is Majik's website
Magik's site gets so many hits that the site has been duplicated to spread out the load. Here is his other site

Sven uses an html editor to help him make stationery and has developed some toolbars that you can add in to that program specifically designed to make it easy for you. He also has an FAQ page with good information.
Visit Sven's page at: http://members.tripod.com/~servais/stationery.html Now updated for OE5 users!

Eric Miller has a site devoted to Outlook Express. This page will answer a lot of questions you might have and gives specific instructions for adding sound to your stationery. sound scripts are for OE4 ONLY! To add sound in OE5, just go to format/background/sound
His pages devoted to stationery start here at: http://www.okinfoweb.com/moe/format/index.htm

The new OE5 can not see the scrolling stationery that was made with the scripts that worked in OE4. There are several new scripts out there now that WILL work in both OE4 and OE5. Edgar was one of the people who worked out some of the new scripts. These are available now on his website at: http://personal.nbnet.nb.ca/moomoo/Tut_index.htm

LISA is a shareware program to help with email management. In it's free version it will NOT help you with stationery, however if you register the program, LISA will actually make stationery for you as you compose your message. This includes ticker messages, scrolling text, marquees and many other things. If you do not want to learn html, but look like you did, then for $20 you might want to consider this program.
Visit Joop's LISA site at: http://www.beechwood.com/lisainen.html

Straight from the horses mouth, this is the official MicroSoft Outlook Express Technical help site: http://support.microsoft.com/support/ie/outlookexpress/win32/ There you will find help for when things go wrong and how to's. Click here to jump right to the page on how to use stationery.

Feeling really adventurous? Then you might want to try adding an MS agent to your messages. You and your reader will need to add some files to your computer to support the agent codes, but if you want to add an agent to your messages here are the directions: http://www-na.biznet.com.gr/sail/isa/agent_04.htm

Not specific to stationery, but other sites I recommend to someone who wishes to write the code for their stationery are:

The HTML Reference Library     Includes HTML 4.0

O'Harry's Marquee Page      When you are here, if you see something you like, right click/view source and then copy and paste the code for the marquee you want into your html file.

The Web Developers Virtual Library     various tutorials here, including one for PhotoShop and one for Paint Shop Pro

24 Hour Java Scripts     Java scripts in your messages can hang or appear to hang the recipients computer - use with caution in your messages! This is a free site, but you will need to pick a password to enter.

Teach me HTML     this site has tutorials for someone looking at HTML for the first time and some more advanced stuff
