A Little Bit About Me

Merry Meet to all of Mother's Children,

This is where I get to talk about myself!!! Lets see, I was born 8 June 1964 into christian parentage in the great state of Wisconsin (GO Packers!!). There it was that I grew through childhood and into manhood spending every free moment I had running the hills and woodlands surrounding my rural home. After graduating from high school I went to theUniversity of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where I met the woman whom I married in 1986. (It is now 1998 and she's still putting up with me three kids later, go figure) We have 3 children 12, 7 & 6 we also have two dogs and a cat who have chosen to take over our household during those brief times that the children relinquish control.

I enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1986 and have been stationed in Ft. Polk Louisiana, Baumholder Germany, Fort Drum New York and am presently stationed in Schofield Barracks Hawaii. We will be moving again in September to Fort Hood Texas. Now you see one of the reasons that I am amazed that my wife is still putting up with me. Not only are my work hours completely unpredictable but every three or four years we have to roll our household up, shove it in a duffle bag and move halfway around the world! Then again maybe thats why she stayed. Whatever her reasons I Love her with all my heart and soul and Thank the Gods/esses daily that she remains by my side.

My Religious Beliefs

This is a hard thing for me to categorize. I am definitely pagan, after that it gets confusing. I am extremely interested in the Ancient Celtic traditions, but don't consider my self Druidic, I am extremely interested in Wicca, but aren't sure I am a Wiccan, I am extremely interested in Shamanism but do not consider myself a Shaman, I am extremely interested in The Ancient Ways of Witchcraft but am not sure I am a Witch. So I guess for those of you who have to have a category for everything you have two choices here: I am a Celtic Druid Wiccan Shaman Witch or (the one I tend to prefer) I am a Pagan. Take your pick, labels and categories aren't important to me.

I believe that the Divine is manifested all around us as Mother Nature or Mother Earth and Father Sky. I am the child of the union of The Mother Goddess and Father God (well alright maybe a couple of generations removed ). I am on a return trip to this plane as I believe I have lived here many times before and shall return after once again passing through the Summerlands on my spirit's unending search for knowledge and enlightenment. I believe in the ability of our spirits to bend time and reality to fit the needs of our will. (Most people call it magick) I also believe in karmic return and therefore have adopted the Wiccan Rede as a law to guide me through this incarnation. I seek insight into my spiritual growth through interaction with others of like and unlike belief, reading of the Tarot, and the casting of Runestones, I also read almost anything I can get my hands on!!

Well I guess that is about it for now if you have questions or comments don't hesitate to send them to me. I try to answer all e-mails I recieve but bear in mind my job can take me away from my computer for very extended and unexpected periods of time.
