KINGDINOSAUR: Caption Comments: I have a special weakness for this caption 'cause I've actually heard William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy butcher classic 60's rock-n-roll songs. Capper Comments: JoeCrow was one of the first people I ever captioned with back in late '96.  I'd pleaded with a friend to let me surf the 'net on his computer and discovered Caption This! (after spending several hours looking at cyberporn).  JoeCrow, or JOECROWTHERS as he was known then, was one of only two cappers whose handle I remember.  Mainly 'cause he was far and away the most consistently funny in the gallery.  Sadly, JoeCrow's schedule seldom allows him to venture into the wee hours of the morning anymore and I hate getting up while the sun is still visible.  It's still a privilege to caption with him whenever our paths cross, though. He puts me in his gallery (Good God, I made another one!), he's one of the funniest cappers I know, heck, the guy's just plain cool. Hippie: Caption Comments: I'll always laugh at a super-hero cap. I always laugh at caps about idiots, too. Joe knows how to put them together with just the right splash of insult.  Capper Comments: There were lots of cappers around when I just started--the only ones I remember were the original late night crew, about a 4-person shift with me, GuloGulo, Jazzsoda, and the master JOECROWTHERS. He shortened the name a bit, but the humor's always plentiful. With Joe, there's no pretentions or ridiculous obscurity references--he goes for the gut laughs. And gets it. So to my hometown of JoeCrow, NJ, SAH-LOOT!	JoeCrow: Yea he's a moron, but humor him, call him Wonder Boy
Dibbley: Caption Comments: It was hard to decide which caption I found to use, but had to settle on this one. This is quite simply the cleverest cannibal caption that I have ever seen. Fabulous take on religion. Capper Comments: Most of my favorite captions done by him have been combining classic and current elements. His is a talent that should be mandated.	JoeCrow: Had to get one last look at Sodom didn't ya'? Well at least now the soup won't be as bland

Capper Comments: Joe's a fine fellow, and has a well-refined appreciation for The Gong Show -- which is really all anybody can ask for in another human being, isn't it? Jazzsoda: Caption Comments: JoeCrow and I go waaaay back, or something, and I had a hard time picking just one cap to try and encompass all that is Joe. I was tempted to pick his "I've come to defeat the feetless" cap, since I've been laughing about that one for two years. Maybe I should get my prescription renewed. I was tempted to pick his "I once ate a gopher" cap because it's just so perfect, I've capped on that idea several times without ever matching Joe's original. But in the end I had to go with the training bra cap, because goddammit it's sick and it cracks me up every time I look at it. Great work, Joe! Capper Comments: Joe's always been the king of the no-frills, no-bullshit cap. He doesn't jump on the bandwagon with every flashy thread that comes along. He doesn't confuse you with references to art-house films that have only been shown in Germany. He just goes for the jugular with the lawnmower blade every time. Joe's caps have always been a breath of fresh air in a gallery that can often become stuffy with caps that try too hard to be funny. Joe steps up to the plate, bangs out a few words or a short phrase and BAM, it's funny as shit. His caps are a great lesson to folks like me who tend to run out of space in the caption field and end up having to spread it over two screengrabs or start cutting out non-essential words like "the" "and" & "tubesnake". He's been one of my very favorites from the start, and he plays a mean 'lectric guitar to boot. Thanks for all the laughs, Joe. Artanas: Caption Comments: I'd second that emotion... Capper Comments: Ah, the statesman of CT. What can I say about Papa Doc that already hasn't been said... Subtle by nature, very direct in approach.  Not one to go for the overly complicated caps... Loves working in those refs that I love to figure out. Other times leaving me speechless... Makes the mundane mondo. Cap on the right is a good example. And calls Jersey home. 'nuff said *salutes*	JoeCrow: ......and that's why short girls with flat heads are so popular

144b: Capper Comments: If anyone would of told me that there was a real person called Joe Crow. I would of slapped them silly. Joe is very good at what he does. Weather it's capping or hosting a cappers site o' ramma. He has a gooney quality about him. that can be read into his well crafted caps.
