'Twas Two In The Morning And All Through The "Flat" Not A Creature Was Stirring...Except The Damn Cat, It Being A Work Day- I Was Used To The Chase... Which Began Every Morning with That Cat In My FACE! Never Content Just To Sleep At The Foot Of My Bed, My Four-Legged NUISANCE Marched Up To My Head- Both Purring And Nipping (Whichever Worked Faster) The "Rise And FEED!" Order Had Come From The "Master"! Mumbling Curses And Twisitng, I Threw "Kitty" Off, And She Promptly Returned To Show Me Who's "Boss"- "NO SLEEP WHEN I'M STARVING!" Her Yowls Said To Me, Who's The Wise-Guy Who Claimed "Pets Are Great THERAPY"?! The Cat Food Was Stored On The Top Shelf With Care, But One Look Told Me "Kitty" Had ALREADY Been There- "What NERVE! You've HAD Breakfast!" I Yelled In Distress, For An Answer, She THREW UP And INCREASED The Mess! The Litter Box Smelled As If Something Had DIED, Now TOTALLY Disgusted- I Put "Kitty" Outside- "I LOVE My Cat" I Reminded Myself As I Turned Off The Light, But Right Now I Need SLEEP... So To All- "GOOD NIGHT!!!" | |||||||||||||||||||
