Jimi Hendrix ---- the man simply ruled the electric guitar. His bold and distinct style of guitar play can never be mistaken. This is who guitarists worldwide look up to.
The Who ---- these guys hold the record for the loudest concert. They have the best drummer (Keith Moon), best bassist (John Entwistle), a damned good guitarist (Pete Townsend), and an amazing vocalist (Roger Daltrey).
Led Zeppelin ---- what can you say about them except that almost every song they made is remarkable.
Eric Clapton ---- he continues to amaze his fans with his guitar skills and recent albums. The man is a living legend.
The Rolling Stones --- you cant help but occasionally hum one of their tunes --- they're simple yet sound great. This band influenced so many others and still go on tour. Others only wish...
The Doors ---- a group that defined psychedelic music with their amazing keyboard play and their icon lead singer Jim Morrison.
Pink Floyd ---- they've received international acclaim for there album "The Wall" and have a wide range of songs from melodic slow to raw electric guitar.
Aerosmith ---- although they've had more success recently on the charts, I believe their best work came during the early days, such as "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotions".
Boston --- the group that hit the music industry like a bus with their first album "Boston" that had the hit "More Than a Feeling". Their play style along with the hard-hitting guitar sound they produced can easily make them considered as the first heavy-metal sounding band.
Van Halen --- even though these guys have had a harder time finding a lead singer than me trying to find a decent car, they sounded great when they first received attention in the early eighties. When was the last time you heard "Panama"?
