Join Vortex
In order to be a member of The Vortex, Inc. you must read the items listed below and agree to all terms.
1) The Vortex is not in any way to be used to recruit members from any other fed associated with the Vortex. You may invite other members to "view" your site but you can not at any time ask someoone to join.
2) The Vortex name nor any other employee of this magazine is to be used in any role-play by any wrestler in a negative way. If you use them just to be mentioning the Vortex name without causing harm to The Vortex or any employee then you may use the names in your role-play.
3) Anyone from anywhere may submit rumors. You do not have to be a member of any fed associated with The Vortex to submit a rumor! Just complete the form on the "Rumors" page and that's it!
4) You must go along with the story lines that your wrestlers write up. If they killed someone in their rp's then it will be reported in The Vortex and the wrestler must be dealt with according to the laws of his/her state. That goes for any other crimes or acts of violence committed.
Crime and Punishment
Below are a list of crimes and its punishment. If you feel that the punishment for the crime doesn't fit please email The Vortex. Please note that this is not all of the crimes. We will add more as the each day progresses. So, just be careful with what you do.
Murder - 25 years to life (depends on how you killed your victim)
Arson - Maximum of 10 years
Kidnapping - Minimum of 5 years
Shoplifting - Maximum of 3 years (may also include a fine)
Public Intoxication - Maximum of 2 years (may also include a fine)
Reckless Endangerment - Minimum of 10 years
Harassment - Minimum of 2 years
Here is how you will be punished. Instead of making you serve the entire time we have come up with the following system.
1 year will equal 3 days
So if you are sentenced to three years in prison you will only serve nine days in “jail”. During this time you will not be able to role play for the fed in which you were arrested in. You can role play for all of your other feds. If you are in R P U you can not role play for this either. It is associated with The Vortex and this goes along with your story lines. That is the rules so please be sure to abide by them. Remember, it is your staff members that signed you up with The Vortex and you HAVE to go along with story lines. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. So, let it be known that if you commit a crime in your role play you will have to serve the time.
5) You must also agree to have every wrestler in your fed graded by our staff for the Top 25. There will be no exceptions for this. No special contracts can be drawn up. Its all or nothing.
6) We must have full permission to use any wrestlers name in this publication. If the wrestler does not agree then we will make a name up for him/her. This will not always be a name they may want but we asked for his/her permission!
7) We must also recieve your upcoming events. So please email us the nights of your shows and any PPV's that you have scheduled. This is also required.
8) Wrestler of the Month will be decided by the Vortex Top 25. The person at the top of the chart at the end of the month will be named our Wrestler of the Month.
9) Rookie of the Month, Promo of the Week, Quote of the Week is all decided by the staff of The Vortex. There are no special items required. Just as long as your work is good and your quote is worth putting up. If you have a suggestion on who should be the Rookie of the Month, Promo of the Week, or Quote of the Week just go to the pages and complete the form.
10) The Vortex Chat will be used to conduct meetings, interviews, and just for people to chat on. When an interview or meeting is taking place you must exit the chat room when asked to do so. Failure to do so my result in you being banned from the chat room all together.
11) The Vortex will no longer cover any feds that use real wrestlers. If you have a problem with this please contact Vortex Enterprises. Thank you.
12) We will no longer take the griping of any federation within The Vortex Circle™. Continuous griping will result in a warning by The Vortex™. Three warnings and you will be put on probation. After you continue your dissing of this publication during your probation your fed will be dropped by The Vortex™ with no questions asked!
I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS ABOVE. BY AGREEING TO THE TERMS I AM ALLOWING MY FED TO BE COVERED BY THE VORTEX MAGAZINE. I UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOID OUR CONTRACT ONLY FOR A LEGITIMATE REASON. THIS CONTRACT WILL COVER A TIME PERIOD OF TWO YEARS AND MUST BE RENEWED EVERY TWO YEARS.
