Rayne has dropped from the number one spot yet again! It appears as though his last promo was just not good enough for The Vortex© this week! This is only the second time that Rayne has dropped from the number one spot over a period of several months. Jordan took this spot gladly but may be in some trouble if Rayne decides to produce top quality work in the next week. Wil Jordan remain number one next week? Check us out on August 11 to find out who will be number one.

The AWF is trying to recover after losing most of their wrestlers to the PCW today. It will be official at tonights PCW PPV which wrestlers left and which one stayed aboard the troubled AWF. Jordan Grisham has been in works with a possible merger of another federation and hopes this will be done by as early as Wednesday of this week. He would not give any details as to which federation he was talking with but said this was going to be huge! He also stated that he has signed some top notch wrestlers. We are looking forward to this announcement and we will have more as this story unravels!

The scene fades in to reveal a brightly lit hall. At the front of the room is a long white table. There is a man stood at the front of the room holding a small black control. Their at least 200 reporters who are most likely full of questions lined along the floor of the room. The man, stood at the center of the table leans forward towards the mic.
Man: Ladies and gentlemen, i am speaking on behalf of Rayn Grayn. He has sent this pre-recorded statement in reply to comments made earlier this evening by one Elisabeth Jenkins
~ Scene ~ The man presses the button and a large screen rolls down the wall. It begins to play.
Ryan: Ok we are going to begin. I called you people here today because it was brought to my attention, by a dear friend, that a certain staff member...or should i say walking mouthpiece has taken it upon herself to critise my comments. I would like to go on record in saying that I, and many others, stand by vehemontly what i said and beleive every damn word of it to be true. If you dont like what i have to say then why dont you come and say to my g****mn face instead of sitting up there all high and mighty in your office with your little pen writing shit aboout things you couldnt even begin to comprehend! I dont mind playing with...infact i enjoy it...you seem to be the one unable to stand the heat which i am creating...and the only advice i can give you is...if you can''t stand the heat...then get out of the kitchen.

The biggest deal The Vortex™ has ever seen is expected to take place this weekend. The Anarchist Wrestling Federation will merge with Paradise City Wrestling where they will keep the name Paradise City Wrestling. Randy Jacks and the owners of the PCW have been in talks all week long about this deal and it is one step closer to being finalized. What will this mean for the staff of the AWF? At this time that has not been decided on nor has the future of all the wrestlers at the AWF. The Vortex™ has heard that all major wrestlers that are in the AWF will go over to the PCW with the minor wrestlers of the AWF going to PCW but with a two week trial period. Again, we must stress that this has not been confirmed by either staff.
Just one more thing before we go...We spoke with Jamie McCallum, President of the PCW, and he has no plans of even merging with the AWF. Jamie did have this to say, "Well if there was any merger going down myself and Matt would be the first to know anything...the PCW wouldn't merge with a company it would have nothing to gain from." We will have more on this breaking story as it develops.

Sunday turned into one of the worst days that HaVoK© has seen in quite sometime. The reason for this is because he has received two death threats. One was in his locker and the other was by a telephone call that he received. HaVoK© did not recognize the caller but you can expect that this person will show up at the PCW's PPV event this Sunday.

The UCF signed a new wrestler today! Renegade, the newest wrestler to the UCF could possibly be joining Max Action and Will H in a new stable this Sunday at Sunday Sacrifice. Renegade comes from a former fed that he and Max Action were in together. He is considered a "keep" at the UCF and we look for his debut on Sunday.

If you was thinking of checking out The Vortex Top Wrestlers© this Wednesday you better think again. The Vortex™ has made a change that will affect the way you check out the rankings. Effective today The Vortex Top Wrestlers© will only be updated on Sundays. The main reason for this is because of the large amount of promo's being produced from all of the feds. Also this makes it more realistic for everyone. Do you see the NCAA updating the top teams two days a week during football season? No, I don't think so. So, get used to the change!
Also, The Vortex™ will begin issuing warnings out to the federations that do not follow the terms of the contract they signed with The Vortex™. This comes right after the IwA was dropped due to the continuos dissing of The Vortex™. Each fed will be warned three times. After the third warning you will be put on probation for two weeks. If the fed continues with their infraction they will then be dropped by The Vortex™. So, read the terms of your contract and let your wrestlers know what is going on!

Please be sure that you are aware of the laws and that you do not break any when using a copyrighted name. We will be running a special here at The Vortex™ to let everyone know the laws of using copyrighted names as well as items that are trademarked or reserved. You can look for this special this Sunday!

The AWF expected this but did not think it would come this quick. Goat, one of the best wrestlers in the AWF submitted his resignation last night. He hopes to return in the near future but that does not look to be promising. This is just one of many wrestlers jumping ship from the AWF. Something tells me that something better change and fast if the AWF wishes to keep operating.

One of the busiest PCW wrestlers went to court yesterday and got the sentence of a lifetime. This is one to mark in the books. For three counts of murder, arson, kidnapping, public pornography, and sexual molestation HaVoK will serve NO jail time and will have to pay six months worth of his paychecks to the charity organization of the courts choosing. He will also have to server 3,000 hours of community service, he is not allowed to leave the United States and he will be on probation for one year.
This just goes to show you that if you are famous you can just about get away with anything. The court system is in shock after Judge Brotherton ruled in HaVoK's favor. Most of all the DA's office is being criticized for even offering the deal to HaVoK. HaVoK is due back in court in two weeks to see how is progressing. We will have more on this story when all information has been obtained.

The charges have been filed with the District Attorney's office against both Stephanie of the PCW and HaVoK of the PCW. The charges are as follows:
Stephanie will be charged with arson, murder in the first degree, and kidnapping. The charges above could carry a sentence of 25 years to life in a federal prison.
HaVoK will be charged with arson, three counts of first degree murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of illegal sexual activity. The charges above could carry a sentence of a minimum of 75 years to life.
Both of the wrestlers are expected to be arrested tomorrow morning sometime to face these charges. It is very doubtful that they will be released on bail but with the court system of America you never know. We will have more on this story as it develops.

The IwA has done it again. Their continous griping of The Vortex has lead to the Vortex Board of Directors to drop this federation from their coverage. It apperas as though the IwA doesn't care that they lost this coverage because they are in the works now of producing their own magazine. The name of this magazine and the maker of this new publication is not know by The Vortex but the IwA can rest assured that they won't have to be bother by the staff of any of the Vortex Subsidiares.
The IwA has been with The Vortex since it opened over six months ago. The IwA was the entire insiration for this publication and now that they have chosen to continuously dis this publication and only say negative things it is within The Vortex's best interest to drop this federation.

It appears as though the wrestlers of the PCW thinks that they can get away with just about anything, including murder. The Vortex has learned that Stephanie M, wrestler in the PCW, was involved with an arson case that happened July 27, 2002. She was at the home of Gabby (last name unknown) where she tied the woman up and poured gasoline all over the house. As she exited she threw a bottle inside the house that exploded and ignited the fire. This was not good enough for Stephanie because the person inside the house, Gabby, was not burning. So she entered the house again and poured gasoline all over the woman and set her afire. This crime is by far one of the worst that The Vortex has seen in sometime. Local law enforcement officials are in looking for the PCW wrestler and if you know her whereabouts you are asked to contact the F.B.I immediately. She is considered to be armed and dangerous so do not approach her.
Also in the news room The Vortex has learned that Stephanie has a son, Devin. She didn't know about this young man until he approached her at a Las Vegas show. When the boy came up to get her autograph she gladly gave it to him and took him to Burger King. There an old woman told Stephanie that she was glad she had found her son. Stephanie was in total shock after receiving the news but she is committed to staying with her son now that she has finally found him. The father is reportedly to be Ryan Grayn, also a wrestler in the PCW. Just how this happy family will deal with the fact that Stephanie has committed one of the most heinous crimes is beyond us.

The commissioner of the IWXCW was arrested on July 27, 2002 for shoplifting from a Chinese restaurant. Commish Beaut Cheese entered the restaurant and placed his order. When he realised that he didn't have his walet he took the food and ran. He was arrested only minutes later by local law enforcement officials and carried straight to jail. However, the woman at the Chinese restaurant dropped the charges so he will not face a court date in the near future. He was later bailed out by his tag team partner, Flame. As for what reprocussions he will face from the rest of the IWXCW is not known at this time.

No, you didn't read the headline wrong. Rayne has signed with the PCW, the newest federation that has become a member of the Vortex Circle. This deal was worth $30 million over a five year period. Does the AWF have what it takes to keep their wrestlers happy? You would think so after spending all of their money renovating R P U and buying out feds and hell even taking vacations that wasn't even needed. This deal will mark the largest that The Vortex and PCW has ever seen in its entire history. For someone to be making $500,000 per month to just show up four times a week is well worth it but then again it just proves that athletes are not in it for the fun but for the money!
Well, you can bet that the Presidents of PCW, Matt Herman and Jamie McCallum are dancing around their offices! I mean to sign someone of this magnitude has got to boost their federation up but loosing someone of this manitude could end everything that you created. What will the AWF do now that Rayne has joined the PCW? The President of the AWF has been unavailable for comment on this story but just as soon as we can reach him we will provide you with all of his comments. Just to make things official we have provided you the reader with the contract that has been signed by Rayne.

This subject appears to be the next on the hit list for The Vortex. It appears as though all the feds out there that have counters are not giving a true count of how many people have visited their federation. Look at the IwA for example, their counter shows that 5,000+ people have visited their site but this counter is inaccurate. Why? Because you can visit this site and the number will increase and if you refresh your browser the number will also increase. This is just a "hit" counter not a "visit" counter. The Vortex has a "visit" counter thus being the more accurate counter among the federations out there. The IWXCW is also on the "hit" counter craze. Why is it that these federations provide their viewers with an inaccurate count of people visiting their federation? Hell if we know but in any case we thought we would inform you that if you just sat there and refreshed your browser one hundred times the number on the counter will also increase by one hundred "hits".

Jordan Grisham wants to maintain the full ownership of The Vortex but Randy Jacks is not taking this too lightly. The DMCW has closed their doors yet again. This may mark the final time for the DMCW to ever close again. Jake McGinnity took over this federation shortly after Vortex Enterprises took ownership. Ever since Mark McGowen left things for DMCW went down the drain. On a brighter note the wrestlers of the DMCW have been asked to join the AWF. As to whether or not the wrestlers will do so is entirely up to them. Guess we will find out when we notice the roster growing at the AWF.

One of the best superstars of the PCW is under investigation after a fire erupted at the home of a co-wrestler. The home of Shadowblade went up in flames on July 24, 2002 and according to local law enforcement officials HaVoK was the last person seen leaving the residence. It was very fortunate that nobody was injured during this incident but the home was a total loss. HaVoK is also under the investigation of yet another local law enforcement agency for a crime that has not been disclosed at this time. We will have more on this story as soon as details become available.
