Nopuko's Love Potion: Traditional Pacific Islands Love Potions
Nopuko's Pacific Islands Love Potion
Of all the islands scattered through the western Pacific, none is more famous than the Micronesian islands of Chuuk (or, Truk) for magic spells and potions -- especially love potions.
There are several love magic sorceresses and sorcerers, but the most well known is Nopuko "Big Mama" Barker, who was taught the secrets of the love potions and love spells by her father when she was a child. Newspaper and magazine articles and features have been written about Big Mama's powers. Japanese and Korean television have done feature stories on her gifts.
