The Pacific islands Chuuk, formerly known as Truk, have long been known for magic and potions, especially for war magic and love potions.
The love potion that Nopuko offers and which she learned from her father, was handed down for hundreds of years by the medicine people of the islands. These medicine men and women are known in the language of Chuuk as sou safei.

The love potion is mixed from the roots and herbs that grow only on the tropical Pacific islands. The exact herbs and roots used depends on the needs of the individual patient or client and are highly secret.
After the potion is mixed, it is combined with the patient's favorite cologne. The patient must then apply the potion to himself or herself in exactly the way instructed by Nopuko.
