A enormous amount of effort has recently been put forth in recognition of the present and future needs for wired homes. Read the following presentation by William L. Aranguren This past October(1999), ANSI/TIA/EIA -570A, Residential Telecommunications Cabling Standard was published. This past February(2000), the TIA subcommittee began work on standards for the cabling of security systems, entertainment systems and control systems. These are only few examples of work being done on this topic. We will try and keep you abreast of future developments. |
