1-1 37248 arrived at Hamworthy, stopped at the signalbox to collect the token for the Hamworthy Branch line. Here she is seen pulling away from the signalbox along the now disused branch face of the platform.
1-2 37248 carries the name "MIDLAND RAILWAY CENTRE" which she received on 4th October 1995.
1-3 37248 seen advancing past the branch semaphore signal at danger. This is NOT a SPAD, this is the branch "Reception" signal which is fixed at danger. This signal can be passed at danger with special permission from the signalbox, this permission is granted on collection of the EKT branch token from the signalbox.
1-4 37248 slowly hauling the empty wagons down the Hamworthy Goods branch.
1-5 37248 proceeding down the branch, notice the track worker ahead of the train standing to the right of the track. He is acting as lookout and alerted the track gang (out of view beyond the curve) of the approaching train with a small horn allowing them to stand clear of the track well before the train reaches them.
37248 returned to Eastleigh with full COW train as OW36 leaving Hamworthy mid afternoon.
