Dr. Frederick Amling is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College, BA; Miami University, MBA and the University of Pennsylvania, Ph.D. He was Chairman of the Finance Department of Miami University and Dean of the School of Business at the University of Rhode Island. Currently, he is President of Amling & Company, Inc. Potomac, MD. He serves on the board of directors of the Keystone Group of Funds in Boston and the Torray Fund in Washington, DC, and Professor of Finance, Finance Department, School of Business and Public Management at The George Washington University, Washington, DC. He served on the Keystone and Evergreen Mutual Fund boards from 1967 to 1997. He is a member of the Cosmos Club, the Congressional Country Club and Beta Gamma Sigma. He is also a member of the Washington Society of Investment Analysis, the American Finance Association and the Financial Management Association. He has written extensively on finance and investments and has written 5 books on investments and personal finance including the book Investment Fundamentals, Dryden, 1994 with William Droms.
