Since
1960 over 200,000 Americans taught skills
and gave assistance to people in over 110 less developed nations around the
world.
The reason for this page
is that I receive about 40 inquiries a year about the
Peace Corps, and how to go about joining.
From 1985 to 1987 it
was my pleasure to serve with and become close friends of two groups of
people.
First the people of my host country, the
Dominican Republic, and second, an outstanding group of Peace Corps
volunteers. Here is their story.
