I'd like to
start by saying "Thank You" to Waunita for hosting the July meeting with
a luncheon at her home. She did a great job as President and will
be a hard act to follow.
As the installation of new
officers took place at the meeting, I'd like to also thank everyone for
allowing me to serve as your new President. I owe a lot to all of
you for your personal support and friendship this past year and look forward
to your continued support in helping our chapter grow. With a total
of 22 members on our current roster, membership needs to be a priority.
Hope to see you at the August
meeting. In the meantime, try to stay cool!

TCAF WOMAN OF THE YEAR EVENT,
SATURDAY, AUGUST 21ST
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Don't
forget to get your reservation in for the TCAF Woman of the Year Event
on Saturday, August 21st. This event is being hosted by the Chapter
TCAF Liaisons. Registration begins at 9:30 AM and the meeting (with
brunch) begins at 10:00 AM. It is being held at Colonial Country
Club, Ft. Worth, TX and the cost is $16.00 per person. Reservations
must be made by August 17th, so give Marion Lafayette a phone call @ 817-293-1430
and let her know you will be there. I want to encourage all of you
to come out and lend your support to Lynne Walraven, our 1999 Woman
of the Year for Arlington Pacesetters.
