This committee is responsible for awarding scholarships based upon critieria that has been established by this committee and voted on by the chapter. This committee will also provide other educational support that might be needed by college-bound persons in the minority community. The committee monitors the progress of scholarship recipients and keep the chapter abreast of achievers and underachievers. This year at May Week activites, 4 book scholarships were awarded to 2 males and 2 females graduating high school students.

In keeping with the orginal purpose of Jabberwock, North Dallas Surbuban Alumane chapter will use it as a major fund raising event. Its objective is to make contributions to the community, (i.e., college scholarships and community outreach). Major activities include the Jabberwock Pageant and other fund raising projects apporved by the body such as raffles, dances, muscials, etc. We awarded over 4 scholarships at this years past Jabberwock Pageant.
