The St.Lucian Flag St. Lucia Court of Arms. "The Land, The People,
The Light". |
St. Lucia is still considered on of the friendliest islands in the Caribbean. A ripple of traditional embracements continue to flow through native veins, fuelling the fires of comraderie and down-to-earth relationships between island inhabitants and visitors. Typically, the merger of French and English customs, etched in the Lucian upbringing, has created a unique hosting mentality in St. Lucians with regards to visitors. It is not unusual to find visitors from foreign lands who spend their vacations at local households. This type of accommodation results from sincere and friendly interaction between visitors and locals alike. It is important to note that despite the warm and friendly nature of St. Lucians, visitors should not throw caution to the wind when leaving the confines of their accommodation to venture out in public areas. Call this land paradise as you may, you will find that there are some fallen angels and all it takes is a little common sense to avert unpleasant situations. Below are a listing of "do's and don't's" as part of our visitor safety assurance. Please take time to read them and act accordingly. After all, among other things you are our business. |
