SPORTS...SPORTS...SPORTS...
Since I was born I was one of the most energetic and open-minded
when it came to playing sports. I would try every kind of sport there was.
Even if they didnt interest me, I would atleast try them. When I came to the Unites States, I didnt know anything about football, baseball, basketball or any other "American" sport. But I caught up with the rest of my cousins and friends who were already here just by watching them on television.

I play every kind f sport there is. My favorite sport is football though.
football is a lot of fun to watch and play. Yes, its physical but itz a lot of fun.
When Iwas in high school, I played varsity badminton all four of my years
there. I was never dedicated to a particualar sport until high school. Badminton,
I guess, brought out my athletic talent. I had played singles throughout high
school and represented Los Altos High School in the
'94-'98 SCVALs (Santa Clara Valley Athletic League).
I also love to watch sports on the television. For example, football is the most favorite sport that I like to play and watch on the television.... One of my favorite teams is, of course, the San Francisco 49ers... and my favorite player of all time is Jerry Rice. He is truly worthy of going in the Naitional Football League Hall Of Fame. Some of my other favorite players on the team are Steve Young, Bryant Young, Merton Hanks, Joe Montana (retired), Garrison Hearst, J.J Stokes, Terryl Owens to name a few.
The reason why I like Jerry a lot is because he does not show off his fame like a lot of his peers do. Jerry is a very down to earth and respectable character. He is truly one of the greatest, if not the greatest, wide receivers ever to play football. Another thing I like about Jerry is that he loves what he does and does it with great concentration, dedication, and charisma.

I also love to watch and play basketball. And my favorite player of all time is, yeah you guessed it, Michael Jordan. Michael has unbelievable agility and he, like Jerry, likes what he does adn does it with great concentration, dedication, and charisma. He also is beyond worthy of going into the National Basketball Association Hall Of Fame. Basketball, like any other sport, involves high levels of conditioning and accuracy. He is truly one of the greatest players to play the game.

I also like to watch baseball, soccer, tennis, golf, and many other sports in my spare time. Sports, in my mind, plays an intricate part in a child's developement. Sports adds in us the part of being enthusiastic, competitive, and at the same time, being well-rounded. Had I not been exposed to the world of sports, I would have became an outkast and unidemensional.
