University of Iowa Foreign Language House:

The Foreign Language House is a residence hall where all of the students have an interest in one or more foreign languages, and are members of a language specific house: German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, and Portugese. Each house has weekly activities such as conversation hours or lectures, and in addition to that there is one large festival per year, such as Oktoberfest, Gusto Latino, and Mardi Gras. I was a member of the German and French houses. My sophomore year I was programmer for the German House.
