Current Research 
  • The mechanical properties, durability and cost effectiveness of conventional and innovative materials as well as waste products. A particular interest is focused on the use of advanced materials in construction and repair.
  • The implementation of non-destructive testing and advanced techniques such as scanning electron microscope, x-ray diffraction and image acquisition/image analysis systems is well within the scope of interests.
  • Corrosion, fracture mechanics and the use ot linear and non-linear finite elements analysis for the design and analysis of structure materials.
  • Vocational training and technical education issues
